Your gluten-free cooking and baking can be easier and tastier with Ella Bella specialty blend all-purpose flour. 1 cup of our flour = 1 cup of traditional all-purpose flour, with all of the flavor and functionality, but none of the gluten, you would expect from your favorite family recipes.
Pie Dough Recipe
|2 Cups||EB All Purpose Flour Blend|
|5-7 Tbsp||Iced Water|
|2 Tbsp||Psyllium husk|
- Mix flour and salt.
- Add shortening until fully incorporated. The texture will be crumbly.
- Add 5 Tbsp ice water until it sticks together, add more if needed.
- Add psyllium husk. Rest for 1-2 hours. (Not necessary, but it does make for a better crust).
- Divide dough in half. Roll out one crust, then the other.
I got your flour on a whim and desperation to find the perfect flour to make my mothers crepes. Since I had to go gluten free I hadn’t been able to find a flour that kept her recipe like it was as a kid. Your flour gave that all back to me, thanks so much you don’t know what it means to me. And all the other from scratch recipes I had given up are now coming back to our table. Also, your pre-measured brownies are to die for. I am so happy 🙂
